Why I cannot open a trade? The ‘new order’ button appears inactive.
It’s possible that you’ve used the ‘Investor Password’ instead of the ‘Trading Password’. To correct this, you need to relink your account with the correct password. You can find the ‘Trading Password’ in the customer portal under ‘Trading Accounts’ → ‘Account Overview’.
To relink your account, follow these steps:
- Open the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 platform.
- Click on ‘File’ → ‘Account Login’ (for MT4) or ‘Trading Account Login’ (for MT5).
- Enter your account login details (trading account number and password).
This should resolve the issue and enable you to open trades successfully.
I cannot trade, ‘invalid account’ is displayed on the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 account.
‘Invalid account’ indicates an incorrect password or a deactivated trading account. Please first check that your login details are entered correctly.
If it is a demo account that you have not used for 30 days, it has been automatically deactivated. You can open a new demo account yourself in our customer portal.

If you click on the ‘+’ sign and select individual symbols by double-clicking or click on ‘Show’, they will become visible in the market overview.
