Trading, symbols, spreads and costs

Why can’t I trade a specific symbol?

Please check whether the symbol is currently within its trading hours. Trading hours may vary depending on the instrument.

You can check whether we offer the requested symbol in the product specifications on our website.

What are the spreads?

You can find a overview of our spreads and commissions in our accounts overview. Our spreads are as follows:

Spread with commission (EURUSDc): from 0.0 pips
Spread without commission (EURUSD): from 0.8 pips
Spread in the DAX from 1.0 to 1.2 points, depending on the account model

Please note that spreads may vary depending on market conditions and liquidity.

Do you charge commissions?

Yes, you can find a complete overview of our commissions at the overview of our live accounts.

For the GBE Classic account, we charge a commission of 0.06% (HT) on cryptocurrencies and €6.50 / $7.00 / CHF 7.00 per lot on Forex c-symbols (e.g. EURUSDc).

The following CFDs can be traded commission-free: Indices, Stocks, Commodities, and Futures.

How is the swap for a specific symbol calculated?

Swap calculations depend on the specific instrument. Current values and calculation details can be found in our product specifications.

Trading accounts

Can I have multiple live or demo accounts?

Yes, you can have multiple live and demo accounts with GBE brokers.

I cannot log in to my demo account. Why?

Demo accounts are automatically deactivated if no login occurs for 21 days. Please also verify that you are using the correct password and server.

Where can I open a new demo account?

You can create a new demo account at any time through our client portal by clicking “Create Demo Account”.

Can I disable daily account confirmations?

Daily confirmations can be disabled for demo accounts. For live accounts, this is currently not possible.

I did not pass the account opening process. What happens next?

If your account application could not be approved, you will be notified of the outcome. If additional information or documentation is required, we will inform you accordingly.

Can I increase the balance of my demo account?

Yes. Simply contact us and we will adjust your demo account balance accordingly.

Taxes

Do you automatically deduct taxes?

No, we do not automatically deduct taxes on your behalf.

Do you provide documents for tax purposes?

Yes. We provide a profit and loss statement, usually at the end of the first quarter of the following year.
